Freedom Service Dogs is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs. Their clients include children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults with disabilities including traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, and autism. It costs FSD around $30,000 and takes between 7-10 months to rescue and train each service dog. The dogs are then provided to deserving clients on the FSD wait list at no charge. FSD also provides a lifetime of support and care to each client-dog team they place. The dogs that do not make it through the service dog training program are placed as professional therapy dogs or adopted into forever, loving pet homes—never taken back to the shelter. Your support helps to save two lives and is greatly appreciated.
Extracted Love will donate $1 of every box of treats sold to Freedom Service Dogs.
